The client ordered a design project for his son’s apartment in Moscow. The idea was to create a versatile interior that would remain modern for a long time. We settled for classic style and neutral colors. Time limitations forced us to choose from the available interior objects.

The client also had quite handy layout ideas, which we implemented in the project with a few changes of our own.

FOR HIM

Despite the calming color palette, the apartment doesn’t look boring or impersonal due to contrasts and accent colors in textile and upholstery. The overall mood of this interior is perfect for a young man.

ACCENTS

The room’s centerpiece is the bed with a wall-mounted padded headboard. The deep blue fabric of the panels matches well with the color of the curtains.

A LITTLE SHINE IN THE DARK

Almost every item in this small kitchen was custom-made from a sketch, table and doors included.

A modern golden chandelier and a Stalinka-style crown molding liven up the calm interior.

Diagonal laying of the floor tiles alleviates the non-standard geometry of the room.

Kitchen facades of dark graphite echo the colors of doorways and cabinets in the living room, giving a graphic touch to the interior.

SURPRISE!

Bathroom has a spacious shower cabin with custom-made black metal partitions.

A mirror cabinet above the sink conceals a small niche for utility lines. It also has shelves for toiletries and cosmetics.

Large-format wall tiles have a fine pattern and light blue tint.

But the most interesting solution is LED lighting around the shower cabin, which visually eases the interior.
